English designer Martin Lambie-Nairn has died aged 75 on Christmas Day 2020, leaving a legacy of iconic idents on British television, as well as abroad. His work for the BBC is amongst the most recognisable, and includes the corporations' current logo, used since 1997. He also designed French network TF1's symbol, used since 1990. Lambie-Nairn is the co-founder of the agency that bore his name before merging with others into Superunion. Until 2008, he and his agency have been shaping lasting identities, of which everyone knows or remembers at least one. This video is a compilation of some of the works he has contributed to.
