In Annapolis Thursday, the Maryland Court of Special Appeals heard arguments over whether a $51 million property in Bethesda can be sold without court approval. The land was once a Black cemetery. And the two sides disagree in their reading of state law. The property in question is an apartment complex owned by Montgomery County's Housing Agency and it's land that was once used as a burial ground for freed Black enslaved people and their descendants. WBAL-TV 11 News reporter Kate Amara was there for oral arguments.
