Martin Azzam hitting a raw 440 lb (200 kg.) Raw Floor Bench Press in training at American Iron Gym in Reno. On a floor press, the bar is not supposed to touch your chest as it is only training a partial range of movement for the bench. Specifically, the top half (maybe a slightly greater range of movement depending on how long your arms are) of the bench press is being trained only as your elbows should hit the ground before the bar makes it to your chest.
