The Curonian Spit is a 98-kilometre long, thin, curved sand-dune spit that separates the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea coast. Its southern portion lies within Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia and its northern within southwestern Klaipėda County, Lithuania. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site shared by the two countries. After crossing by ferry we make a walk and travel to the Russian border.
We visited Lithuania on our overland trip by car (a Toyota LandCruiser 4WD campervan) from the Netherlands to the Nordic countries in Europe; see our channel [ Ссылка ] for hundreds of clips. More clips of Lithuania can be found here: [ Ссылка ].
