Investigate the intersections between Northwest Coast Indigenous oral traditions and global climate change with Tom Thornton (University of Oxford). Thornton will suggest that Tlingit narratives featuring Trickster-Demiurge Raven—still invoked as encapsulations of resilience and adaptation—hold continuing relevance today in the face of anthropogenic climate change.
