I’ve played quite a bit of Diablo 4 and I’m going to share 10 of the things I consider important to know before you play so you can be ready when the game releases in June.
Craft Incense at the Alchemist for a wide range of buffs. You can only have one incense on at a time, and the way Incense works in Diablo 4 is that you get an increased bonus depending on how many players are near you when you use the incense. For example the Chorus of War Incense Increases all stats by 40 and crit and overpower damage by 5% for every nearby player and Last 20 minutes. This sounds like it’s meant to encourage players to group up and get a massive incense bonus by being around other players, or to be in a group and refresh the incense on the go. I imagine most players probably won’t always have other people to play with, so I imagine players will be grouping near vendors or main town waypoints to refresh their incense since that will have the most players gathered in one spot. There are a lot of strong incense buffs available, so make sure to have one on as often as you can, just like an elixir.

Always Have an Unstoppable or Immune Skill on Your Bar
Unstoppable and Immune remove all crowd control abilities such as fear, stun, slows, and even tether.
You can actually use something that makes you Unstoppable in order to escape from crowd control. This is really important for boss fights where for example the blood Bishop might have grabbed you. You can actually use trample for example to escape the stun effect which will make you Unstoppable. Shadow Step is the same thing for Rogues, teleport makes the sorcerer unstoppable, Blood Mist makes the Necromancer Immune, and Charge or Rallying Cry can make the Barbarian Unstoppable. So every class has at least 1 ability to free themselves of crowd control, and they should have at least 1 ability that does that on their bars at all times so that you are ready to use when you start being crowd controlled by a boss or other dangerous monster.
Shrines and Wells in dungeons have a chance to be cursed. You can tell if a shrine is cursed before you click it by viewing the minimap - if the icon is missing, the shrine is cursed.
Shrines are always worth grabbing because of the powers you can get.
You can refine resources at the Alchemist to create crafting materials from other crafting materials. [ Ссылка ]
This can be useful if you have way too much of one material and you want to convert some of it to another material you need. These materials are used for upgrading your gear.
Obols are shared across characters. That means you can max out your obols and make a fresh character to gear them out really fast, or if you have a low level character, you can farm obols on them and then spend them on a high level character. Obols are really important in Diablo 4, which brings us to tip number 6:
When searching for specific Legendary Aspects, the fastest way to find what you’re looking for is by gambling with Obols.

Now if you’ve learned something new or are enjoying the video so far, leave a like down below as it really helps me out on Youtube, thank you very much and while you’re down there consider subscribing if you’re new here, I’ve got lots more Diablo 4 videos just like this coming your way as fast as I can make them, and it would be great to have you along for the ride.
Because of limited item slots and Legendary Aspect item slot restrictions, it’s usually going to be in your best interest to put your mobility aspect in your boots - the alternative is in an amulet and amulets grant +50% value on aspects, so you probably don’t want to waste 50% extra value on what could be one of your build-defining offensive aspects for instead 50% more mobility. And the Pants item slot is the only item slot that can only hold a defensive aspect, so if you’re planning on getting a defensive aspect, put it here unless you know a Unique is better for that item slot.
