Through the First Person program, Holocaust survivors have the opportunity to share their remarkable personal stories of hope, tragedy, and survival with thousands of visitors at the Museum. This program was recorded on June 12, 2019. It features Gideon Frieder, who was born in Zvolen, Slovakia, in 1937. Gideon survived the Holocaust in hiding and was liberated by Romanian forces in 1945.
