Here are various videos taken during the midnight between March 31, 2020 and April 1, 2020! On nights between March 31 and April 3, 2020, 1 trains were rerouted from South Ferry to run on the 2 line between Chambers St and Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center, because 2 trains were rerouted onto the Lexington Ave Line to allow repair work to be done faster at Central Park North/110th St, which suffered fire damage a few days prior due to an arson attack on a 2 train - rest in peace, train operator Garrett Goble. This was a brilliant move by the MTA to allow emergency work to be done faster, and kudos to all MTA employees working to sustain service and fix up subway infrastructure during the COVID-19 pandemic.
