EASY PAN-SEARED SALMON WITH LEMON GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
2-4 pieces of salmon - can have skin on
6 cloves minced garlic or 1 Tbsp.
zest of one lemon
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3-4 Tbsp. cold unsalted butter
2-3 Tbsp. olive or avocado oil
salt and white pepper
Fresh parsley and lemon slices for garnish

Pat salmon dry with paper towel and season with salt and pepper.
In a non stick pan on med high heat add oil and salmon pieces.
Cook untouched for 3-4 minutes until nice crispy crust forms.
Turn heat down to medium and flip salmon pieces.
Cook an additional 2-3 minutes or until the salmon is done.
Internal temp 130-140 degrees.
Remove from pan and drain on paper towel.

In same pan on medium heat with about 1 Tbsp. of salmon oil left,
add minced garlic and lemon zest. Cook and stir for 30 seconds or until
fragrant.
Add lemon juice, stir and cook for another minute or until slightly reduced.
Turn off heat.
Add cold butter and stir until melted.

Add salmon pieces back into pan and coat thoroughly with sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices.

Serve and enjoy.
