Noam Chomsky spoke on Colombia becoming the capital in South America for US leadership in economics and politics, and the only country that still has guerrillas, paramilitary armies, and internal conflict. He discusses the role of the US historical role in Colombian conflict and other Latin American and foreign countries including the Middle East.

This first section of this video is a dialogue between Noam Chomsky and Graduate Student at MIT Juan Pablo Duran Ortiz. The second portion is a Q&A period between the audience members and Noam Chomsky
