"In South Africa we have to get off coal and going into renewable energy give us more jobs. We need more people working to use renewable energy than we do fossil fuels. So it's going to affect us in positive ways if we respond to climate change and move away from dirty fossil fuels, phase them out and embrace people's power."

STORYLINE:
Protesters took to the streets of Johannesburg on Saturday in support of a global climate deal ahead of the COP21 climate change negotiations in Paris.
Demonstrators demanded a legally-binding agreement to curb carbon emissions from world leaders and called for more commitment to renewable energy.
