Want to make your own mini catapult at home? Check out this video tutorial!
In this video, Jessie explains how to make a catapult using popsicle sticks, wooden skewers, and a few other household items.
When you're done building, you can try catapulting various small objects. See how accurate you can be with your shots, and see if you can make adjustments to your design to make your catapult stronger or sturdier. Just be safe! And never point your catapult at another person.
Materials needed:
- Popsicle sticks
- Wooden skewers
- Straw
- Rubber band
- Small plastic cup
- Scissors
- Masking tape
- Projectiles (something safe to launch)
When you’re done with this project, we’d love to see it! Send us a picture at contact@virtualbgc.org, upload to social media using #virtualbgc, or comment below!
Have fun!
