This time, I catch a PROPER sized trout. I cook one of my favorite Sichuan (Szechuan) dishes: Shui Zhu Yu or Sichuan Boiled Fish. Typically the dish is made with less oily fish like tilapia or sea bass, but I'd say the dish turned out just fine!

Hello everyone, this is Just Knibbles.
As a kid and in my 20's, I've always enjoyed fishing and being in nature. Somewhere along the way, with work, life, and age, I stopped fishing and going out into the wild.

I've recently picked up fishing, camping, and bushcraft again to get away from the crowded cities of Southern California and to let my mind drift away, even if it is just for a few hours. I'm not a bushcraft, fishing, or cooking expert but those are activities I enjoy doing immensely. You'll see me make mistakes and do things wrong here and there and I am open to feedback (so please let me know!).
