The New York State Unified Court System authorizes the reopening of seven more county courthouses for in-person appearances. This move brings the total of functional courthouses to thirty. There are sixty-two county courthouses in the state so as of Friday, May 22nd fewer than half the state’s courthouses were operating through in-person appearances.
