Usually, we need to defeat Master Kohga to get the Thunder Helm, which then lets us face Vah Naboris, enter the dungeon, etc.

But if we could somehow get the Helm early with glitches, could we skip fighting Master Kohga, or avoid entering the Yiga Clan Hideout altogether?
