For Jennifer Burley, that was her story.
After unexpectedly getting pregnant in her senior year of high school, everyone told her to get an abortion. Her father made the final decision.
"Nobody asked me how I felt, how I was doing physically or emotionally. Their problem was solved."
After years of depression, she got pregnant again. This time she knew: abortion wasn't an option. But she had to face the realities of post-abortion stress so she could parent her child.
Years later, she knows Jesus was by her side through those lonely moments. "When I let him forgive me, I was able to forgive myself."
