In this weather we need some hot dish to feel comfortable. Try this mograbieh recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
400 g of baby onions
400 g of check peas
500 g of mograbieh
2 tbs of unsalted butter
Chicken stock 9 cups
Salt 2 1/2 tsp
Mograbieh 2 1/2 tbs or ( carawya 1 tbs , cinnamon 1 tbs, and black pepper 1/2 tbs)
Instructions:
First start by adding vegetable oil in a pot then add the baby onion’s and wait until golden color from 10 - 15 minutes
Remove the onion and set aside
Melt the butter and add the mograbieh , salt , and the spices.
Add 5 cups of chicken stock to the pit and put in a very low heat until the water absorbed
Add back the onion, check peas, and add the rest amount of the chicken stock. Add the chicken, salt, and more spices ,
Let it boil for about 10 minutes and enjoy!
