BSG guitars are built by Jan Stovicek in Czechia and are renowned for their excellent tonal qualities and impressively detailed craftmanship. Jan and his small team only make a maximum of 200 guitars every year, and maintaining the highest quality in every step of the production process is absolutely his main goal. When you take all these things in consideration it almost makes you wonder how this is possible at this price level. This quote by Jan Stovicek says it all:
"We strive for perfection when crafting our guitars, Even though absolute perfection is only in God's hands, We are getting closer with every guitar we build." Jan Stovicek, Founder.
The GA10CF is a Grand Auditorium guitar with mahogany back and sides, a cedar top and a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard. This model has a cutaway and only uses solid wood. These natural looks of this instrument are complemented by the herringbone rosette and purflings with flamed maple binding, giving this instrument a modest but beautiful appearance. The sound is full with convincing lows, pronounced mids and a characteristic high with lots of punch.
