Dr. Kris Rizzotto is an active international recitalist who frequently premières and performs the works of contemporary composers. Composers such as Carson Cooman, Composer in Residence at Harvard University, Aivars Kalējs (Latvia), Antoine Giovannini (France), Robert Farrell (USA), and Grimoaldo Macchia (Italy) have dedicated pieces to Kris. Dr. Rizzotto has performed in Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, and in 20 American states.

Dr. Rizzotto is the Organist & Choirmaster at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Minneapolis, MN (USA) and became a published composer after Toccata was released by Wayne Leupold Editions in 2014. Dr. Rizzotto was named a member of The Diapason‘s 20 Under 30 Class of 2017, which recognizes young leaders in the fields of organ, harpsichord, carrillon, and church music. Kris was previously the organist at Rio de Janeiro’s Benedictine Abbey, owner of one of the oldest organs in South America and where the Carioca monks have kept the tradition of the chants and liturgy alive since the 16th century.

Kris holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance from the American Organ Institute at the University of Oklahoma, a Master of Music in Sacred Music from East Carolina University, and a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Kris' doctoral dissertation was about the importance of music in the formation of the national identity of the Latvian people, focusing on organ compositions by Aivars Kalējs which represent the values and spirit of the Latvian heritage.

Lillehammer kirke er en langkirke fra 1882 i Lillehammer kommune, Oppland fylke (Norge). Mot Søndre park ligger det et kapell oppført omtrent samtidig med kirken. Begge bygningene er oppført i nygotisk stil, men etter renoveringen i 1959 ble nesten hele interiøret i kirken endret. Kirkens opprinnelige altertavle, en kopi av Adolph Tidemands altertavle i Tyristrand kirke, ble da erstattet med en ny, et malt trerelieff av Maja Refsum med motivet Jesus i Getsemane. I 2007 ble kirkens interiør på ny endret. Det ble satt inn et nytt alterbord på en platting foran i skipet, mens koret framstod som et eget kapell. Korets vegger ble kledd med monotypier av Borgny Farstad Svalastog. Eksteriøret framstår i dag som da kirken sto ferdig med unntak av inngangsdørene som ble byttet i 1959. I 2007 ble kirkens tak tekket på nytt, og det gamle skifertaket ble byttet ut med nytt med unntak av tårnet hvor skiferplatene ble fjernet og kopperplater ble lagt. Kirkerommet har plass til 650 personer.

Den gamle kirken som sto på samme sted ble revet i 1882. Dette var en forholdsvis liten korskirke i tømmer, muligens også med enkelte deler av stav.

Kirkens første orgel var et 15 stemmers instrument bygd av August Nielsen i Oslo med Ludvig Mathias Lindeman som konsulent. Orglet ble erstattet av et nytt instrument på 39 stemmers og 22 unitstemmer i 1948. Orgelbygger Josef Hilmar Jørgensen bygde dette elektropneumatiske instrumentet, og konsulent var denne gang domorganist Arild Sandvold. Det nåværende orgel på 41 stemmer og tre manualer ble bygd av Rieger Orgelbau og stod ferdig i 2001. Kirkens nåværende organist Tim Collins var konsulent. Åpningskonserten ble spilt av den franske organisten Olivier Latry fra Notre-Dame i Paris.
