This year, the laureates of UNESCO Prize for girls’ and women’s education are: Room to Read Cambodia for its Girls’ Education Programme and the Girls Livelihood and Mentorship Initiative (GLAMI) from Tanzania.
The Prize honours outstanding and innovative contributions made by individuals, institutions and organizations to advance girls’ and women’s education. The call for nominations opens every year on 8 March.
