Follow me as I try out Bleach London White Toner (a hair toner for white hair which uses a developer) and review it for you as I show you step by step how to use a developer-toner. I've got very long thick hair so I only put it on my roots which were not currently toned (and two highlight strands at the front). It's my first toner that requires a developer, so I followed the instructions to the letter.
Looking at the results, I think this toner should probably call itself "Platinum Toner" instead of "White Toner" because it doesn't really come out white, even on very light blonde hair, although it does neutralise some of the yellow tones. Also when I rinsed it out it seemed to take my silver toner off of the lengths of my hair at the same time. Worth knowing.
More to follow when I try out Directions White Semi Permanent Toner on my hair next week.
NOTE (1 WEEK LATER): The Bleach London White toner left my hair progressively turning more yellow with every wash (and I do use L'Oreal silver shampoo regularly). I cannot recommend this product as it led to me having to do a color correction with some actual bleach, and would have meant an expensive trip to the hairdressers had I not known how to fix it.
