The chief executive of the Night Time Industries Association has told Sky News that banning smoking in pub gardens could lead to further closures of venues.
Michael Kill was reacting to reports that Labour are planning to ban smoking in some outdoor spaces.
A new ban would apply to England however the Welsh government said it would work jointly with the UK government when new smoking legislation is introduced.
