Sen Miguel Zubiri debunks Sen Padilla for his ignorance on the West PH(Philippine) Sea. Could it be that he is one of those pro-China propagandists? Migz Zubiri strongly debunked Padilla's viewpoints which are clearly not in line with the government on the South China Sea issue. Robin Padilla goes to West Philippine Sea. President Biden warns China of illegal and dangerous acts in the South China Sea, tells China support for the Philippines is ironclad. Zubiri made the emotional appeal as tensions are rising high over China's becoming more aggressive lately. He said that as Filipinos we should be one in supporting our armed forces in securing our territories. Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, likewise, lectured Padilla about issues on the West Philippine Sea. This was quite a revelation and coming from a senator. It seemed, he wasn't fully appraised of the current situation. According to expert Batongbacal, we are well within our exclusive economic zone and that China has no business interfering with whatever we do in our exclusive economic zone. He also said that the US military can overfly the area and does not violate any country's rights. Sen Padilla even disagrees with the expert on whether China's Coast Guard is military in nature. He insists, like a Chinese spokesman, the Chinese Coast Guard is civilian. It was quite a shock how he seemed to know better than the experts and our military people. He talks of the US as a third party, what about China who doesn't even have to be there because that is within our exclusive economic zone. I hope the senate can censure him as unbecoming of an officer of the Philippines.
