Ram Sinha (Shatrughan Sinha) belongs to a wealthy family. His mother wants him to get married so that their family can have a heir. Ram entrusts the job of finding him a bride to his mother. Ram's marriage is arranged with a beautiful young woman named Chitralekha (Neetu Singh). After the marriage Ram accuses Chitralekha of being a ghost who is out to kill him. However, Chitralekha denies this and pledges her loyalty towards him. Ram, his friend Rajesh (Asrani) and Rajesh's wife decide to go on a tour to escape Chitralekha's wrath, but no matter where they go, her ghost keeps haunting them.
