This used to be a residential area full of people and businesses in the vibrant city of Mariupol which before the war was home to about 400,000 people.
Russian and Ukrainian forces have fought for over a month, struggling to take control of the city.
Civilians trapped there have been sheltering in basements with little food, power or running water.
Citizens were expected to evacuate the city on Sunday but the Red Cross convoy is struggling to reach them because the area is not safe to enter yet.
