The Indonesian delegation at the UN was unable to respond to John Anari's statement when summoned by the Chair of the Session at UN Headquarters on 19 June 2024, and John Anari was disappointed with the ULMWP who had different opinions with Jon Anari regarding which issues should be raised and prioritized at the UN. John Anari from WPLO focuses on legal issues, while ULMWP focuses more on human rights and global warning issues...
The Indonesian delegation at the UN was unable to reply to John Anari's statement when summoned by the Chair of the Session at UN Headquarters on 19 June 2024, 1 hour later they asked to speak again. They question Indonesia's territorial integrity and the UN should not interfere. It turned out that they received threats from former UN staff in charge of Indigenous Peoples Affairs that Indigenous Peoples already had territories long before the State existed. So Indonesia has no right to prohibit the UN from allowing the Indigenous People of West Papua or other Indigenous Peoples to speak at UN Headquarters.
Because, Indonesia actually violates the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, which is stated in Article 46a. John Anari himself is a Papuan Liberation Activist from the West Papua Liberation Organization (WPLO) who attended the UN Permanent Forum for Indigenous Peoples Issues (U N P F I I), for all of us to know that: the UN Forum for Indigenous Peoples Issues in the last session issued recommendations regarding Papua "This Draft UN Recommendation was submitted by UNPFII Members to the United Nations Economic and Social Council, after receiving the WPLO Report which was accompanied by evidence of UN Law, which was alleged to have been hidden for more than 60 years by Indonesia and the UN itself, namely in the form of a Charter Violation UN Article 73 and UN Resolution No. 448," said John Anari in a message on Sunday (02/06/2024). Where, continued John Anari, Papua is included in the List of Non Self Governing Territories in accordance with the UN Charter Article 73 which was ratified through UN Resolution Number 448. However, because of Freeport Mining interests in Cuba which lost $3 billion in 2017, Papua was finally removed from the Non Self List. Governing Territories and then moved to the List of Trust Territories under the auspices of 3 UN Trustees entrusted to Indonesia, the Netherlands and America.
"Therefore, related to the Papua issue, the UN Permanent Forum for Indigenous Peoples' Issues (UNPFII) issued a Recommendation to the UN Special Procedures, to Investigate the Process of Transferring Dutch Power in Papua, from the Dutch Government to the Indonesian Government, which is alleged to have been carried out by force , because it violates the UN Charter Article 73 and UN Resolution No. 448," According to John Anari, this recommendation was issued after the end of the Twenty-Third Session of the UN Permanent Forum for Indigenous Peoples' Issues (UNPFII), on April 15-26 2024. at UN Headquarters New York City. The recommendation is in point 38 which reads: The Permanent Forum notes the proactive steps taken by the Honduran and Indonesian Governments to integrate the rights of Indigenous Peoples into the national land rights and environmental conservation framework. Furthermore, the Forum reiterates its concern regarding the ongoing situation in West Papua, especially the conflict with Indigenous Peoples, and encourages Indonesia to extend an invitation to the UN Special Procedures.
WPLO itself was officially registered as a Civil Society Organization at the United Nations Economic and Social Council in December 2010, and collaborates with the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights at the UN Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. In addition, every year the WPLO officially promotes the right to Self-Determination for the people of West Papua at the UN Permanent Forum session on Indigenous Peoples at the UN Headquarters in New York, United States. W P L O's mission is to Promote the Right to Self-Determination for the People of West Papua and w p l o's vision is to Promote and Protect the Rights of the Indigenous People of West Papua. This video is an official statement from John Anari regarding matters that are respectfully received from YouTuber Manuscript. #mixmanuscript
