Can you imagine setting off on foot through the deepest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Baikal, all alone without modern conveniences? Explorer and filmmaker Xu Jiangjun, or Ivan Xu, spent three weeks walking 700 kilometers through the frozen lake at 30 degrees below zero. He was the eighth person on the planet to make the crossing from the southern side to the north. Before he went on his icy adventure, Ivan rode by bike through as many as 36 countries across Asia, Africa, and Europe. CGTN's Tian Wei sits down with Ivan in a tell-all about his documentary "China to Siberia: Crossing the Loneliest Lake."
