Showing my son the steps I go through to load the .223 Remington using my Lee Precision Classic Turret Press with Auto Index.
Starting with once fired military crimped cases that had been washed in my Vinegar/Water/Dawn Dish Detergent Solution, dried and lubricated with D.C.L. from Dillon.
I add a primer to the Lee Priming Tool, add a lubed case to the shell holder, raise the ram and size/decap the case and bring it down and stop before priming the case. Remove the case, put it on the Lee Trim Zim and trim it with the cutter with case length gauge, debur it with the chamfer tool. Trim the primer pocket of the crimp, clean the primer pocket. Place prepared case back into the shell holder, finish the down stroke and prime the case. Raise the ram as it indexes to the next station (powder charge die), charge the case using my Lyman 1200 DPS3, lower the ram and index to next station, add bullet to case, raise ram into bullet seating die, lower ram and index to factory crimp station and raise ram to crimp neck of the case, lower and remove loaded cartridge.
