here's an unusual crystal radio build, basically a shortwave set tuned to 8 to 30 MHZ using just 5 turns for the tuning coil and 3 turns for the antenna coil.and connected to grounded Altoids box with diode and phone jack. a ground connection is optional but tends to hum more try it with a house stereo or guitar amp or even a unpowered crystal earphone if the signal is strong enough. Try it out
during skip, or with a friend and CB rig.
Check out my CB crystal radio with a groovy retro 70's faceplate and PL259 connector attached to a 40 foot RG 58 coax cable and a Home made SWR tuned vertical 1/2 wave dipole in a ground plane configuration, very successful when shooting skip with my regular Galaxy CB. [ Ссылка ]
