I know that I have been MIA, but a lot has been going on and I just wanted to take a break from YT for a while. But I am refreshed and ready to go for 2022.
Hope you can get to try this recipe in "plum season" . It has been my absolute favourite way to preserve plums. Learnt it from my Chinee-granny :) I have been making this every year for the past 30 years!!!
All you need is-
-A bottle or jar with a lid
-Full green plums
-Water
-Salt
-Brown sugar
-White vinegar
-Hot pepper
(cant give exact quantities, since it depends on how many plums you are soaking)
BUT-
ALWAYS add more WATER than VINEGAR.
ALWAYS add more SUGAR than SALT.
