Cold winter days can be the perfect time to shoot portraits inside a home studio but that doesn't mean you can't bring the outside inside. In this video Gavin Hoey shoots a winter portrait complete with falling snow.

Gavin starts by walking you through his home studio set-up which makes use of a garden bench, colored lighting and a little bit of hazy smoke. He then takes you through the steps needed to add some fake snow in Photoshop and tweaks the lighting to complete the final photo.
