Tesla shares were down in midday trading on Thursday after Bloomberg reported a potential delay of the robotaxi event scheduled for August 8.
Sources suggest the event may be pushed to October to allow more time for building autonomous vehicle prototypes.
Tesla had not confirmed the date change at the time of publication.
