In many places, the fall season is marked by changing of leaves on many deciduous trees and shrubs as green is replaced by a bright mix of red, orange, and yellow. While Washington State may not be the first place that you think of with autumn leaves, there are still many opportunities to see trains passing by the brightly colored trees this time of year. In this video, we travel around the western part of the state to see various Amtrak, BNSF, Union Pacific, and Sounder trains that were captured during the fall. These scenes were all filmed between October of 2018 and October of 2022.
