A mugger attempted to rob this 77-year old man and failed.
The attacked appeared to have a weapon which police say transpired to be a pencil.
The police said on Facebook that "the victim in this case showed great bravery" but that he had been left shaken.
They are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
