Mundasupatti Stars Hero Vishnu who has acted in Tamil Movies like Neerparavai, Bale Pandiya, Kullanari Koottam , Heroine Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame "Kumutha Happy Annachi" - Nanditha , along with famous Tamil Comedy star Kaali Venkat much acclaimed for his Latest Tamil Movies Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, Poovarasam Peepee and " Muniskanth" comedy fame Ramadoss
Latest Tamil Movie Mundasupatti features a village filled with superstitions. The villagers have a belief that photographs will reduce their lifespan. So they run for their dear lives when cameras open up. They don’t take photographs when they are alive. Not very far away, Vishnu is a photographer who runs his own photo studio in Sathyamangalam near Mundasupatti village.
One day a moustached villager comes to meet the hero Vishnu(as Gopi) and his assistant to invite them to their village to take a photograph of their head man in their village. The Mundasupatti villager, hero Vishnu and the assistant, Kaali Venkat (as Azhagumani) start on their Yezdi Motorcycle which gets choked and exhausts if accelerated beyond 20km/hr. Hero Vishal, though he refuses initially because he is not interested to take a photograph of a man but agrees to the assignment when he eyes the heroine "Kumutha Happy Annachi" fame Nandita (as Kalaivani). This is their second meeting, as Vishnu sees Nandita in a school photo session in her school and she refuses to pose to the camera. Movie goes into Mood when hero Vishnu sees his dream girl lady Love Nanditha again. Love blossoms instantly and hero Vishnu thanks God’s grace of making their second meeting happen. Vishnu's struggles at Mundasupatti village doesn't make Nandita enough to accept her love for Vishnu . Vishnu is doubtful whether Nandhita will accept his love.
Big mess up happens after they take the photograph. They get stuck in the village. Ramdoss (as Muniskanth) an acting craze character who aspires to become a Rajinikanth or a Kamal Hassan or a Vijayakanth and later atleast a comedian, adds to the flavor of the movie. All these characters join force to make this Tamil movie Mundasupatti a rollicking comedy entertainer.
