This is the story of the founder, Keith Kellogg who was born on April 7, 1860, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Ann Janette and John Preston Kellogg as the seventh of their 16 children. From a young age, Will was interested in business and used to go door to door trying to sell his father's broomsticks, and even dropped out of school in his mid-teens to join the business.

Will left his father's broomstick business and joined his brother as the business manager since John could not manage its routine operations alone. John’s methods to 'cure' patients from various illnesses would include shocking their eyeballs, shaking, vibrating, and even beating them.

Believe it or not, people loved going to him for treatment, he grew to a point where he treated approximately 1300 people a year, and that was only the beginning; the number just kept growing as the months passed.

Will started experimenting with new foods, trying to establish healthy vegetarian foods to serve the patients. He had excellent persuasive skills that he had picked up during his time working with his father, and he also helped market the cereals to the target consumers.

Today, Kelloggs sells various cereal and convenience foods, including cookies, crackers, toaster pastries, cereal bars, and fruit-flavored snacks. The company's products are manufactured in 18 countries and marketed in over 180 countries.
