Dolli Roti Recipe in English:
Liquid mixture:
½ cup Yogurt
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
¼ tbsp baking soda
1 Egg
¼ cup Ghee
Dough:
3 cup All purpose flour
1 cup Wheat flour
4-5 tbsp Crushed Coconut
Masala:
1 tbsp Fennel seeds
2 sticks Cinnamon
4-5 Cloves
2 Black cardamom
2-3 Cardamom
8-10 Black pepper
Direction:
Add fennel seeds, cinnamon, cloves, black cardamom, cardamom, black pepper and chop everything well.
In a bowl add powdered sugar, yogurt, ghee, baking soda, egg and ground masala. Whisk everything well. Keep aside.
In another bowl add all-purpose flour, wheat flour, crushed coconut and mix it well.
Add liquid mixture and mix it well. Gradually add water & knead a soft dough.
Cover it and leave for overnight.
Make a ball and roll a thick disk and deep fry it on a medium flame.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serving: 12-15 person
