PU Library organized March 2019 Book Club Event
The Punjab University Library Book Club organized its thirteenth program to nurture reading culture among academia. The books of March 2019 program were “Rakh say likhi hoi kitab” written by Nasir Abbas Nayyar and “Aurangzeb: the man and the myth” written by Audrey Truschke. The introductory talk on the Urdu short stories book was presented by Dr. Muhammad Haroon Usmani, Chief Librarian, Punjab University Library. He presented in an interesting way the theme of the different stories of the book that were portraying the different shades of human psyche. The talk on the second book was presented by Dr. Faraz Anjum, Associate Professor, Department of History, Punjab University. He explained in a logical manner the facts and interpretations presented by Audrey Truschke about the historical, famous yet controversial Mughal personality “Aurangzeb”.
