This video is about doing multi-track recording, in multiple layered passes, designed as a very simple introduction to home studio technology. This is the third in a series of about a dozen videos intended to take people from the basics to being able to record and produce full tracks in production software including ProTools, Cubase, and other DAW's. This video is actually the first third of my "multi-layered tracking" video, and the rest is in tutorials #4 and #5. The video was much too large to be a single video.

Unfortunately, as of early 2014, YouTube annotations are not visible to mobile viewers, only to users watching on desktop browsers. I use annotations quite frequently to post clarifications and additional information during the video. For the best educational experience, you might prefer to watch this video in a desktop browser rather than on mobile, unless YouTube eventually fixes the mobile annotation deficiency.
