THIS DESCRIPTION IS A MUST READ OVER ALL OTHERS (so far)!!!
PAX which is short for the formerly known Penny Arcade eXpo is a gaming convention which was in Australia for the first time last weekend. Below is a list of all the games I played (but no footage unfortunately) but I'll give my opinion based on what I've seen.

Super Mario 3D World: All the Nintendo representatives were saying that once you play the game, you kinda forget what the previous 3D Mario games were. I did the boss and World 4-2 and they were really cleverly designed. Demo Score 8/10.

Zelda Wind Waker HD: Wated almost 1.5hrs to play this game and for that long wait, it probably wasn't worth it as 10mins of gameplay if that. But if the line wasn't as long, it was worth it. All that aside, it makes sense why Nintendo chose to do a HD version of this, instead of Majora's Mask. Demo Score 7.5/10.

Pikmin 3: For someone who's never played either of the first two and only the relevant mini game in NintendoLand, it was really fun. It certainly has a lot of replay value in it to try and improve on what you did before and makes it really tempting to purchase the game. The game was that good, I went back to play it a few times. Demo Score 8.5/10.

Oculus Rift: A game called Wander was developed for people to play either with the rift or on a computer monitor in the third person perspective. You walk around in like a forest area. Great demonstration of what the oculus rift can do but a couple of concerns for it. I got really dizzy while wearing it, guide person was changing what I could see, vision was not what I expected (really a huge circle with black boarders all around in front of your eyes) and really, really pixelated. No idea of cost as of when this was uploaded but I couldn't personally see myself getting enough use out of it, based on what I've seen. Demo Score 6/10.

Xbox One Event: Microsoft did a presentation in the main theatre regarding Xbox One and it was very much like Xbox One's initial launch press conference, only different hosts and a lot less talk about TV integration. I wasn't sold on Xbox One (even though I'm committed to Wii U), and this presentation despite all the impressive capabilities of what the system could do, did still not sell the system to me (even if I did not own a Wii U). Sonic Lost World 3DS: Great taste of what the game has to offer. Hard to master it, but that only comes with practice. Great use of 3D and it would be a worthwhile game if you have a Wii U and are a passionate sonic fan. Demo Score 8/10.
