“The Single European Sky: an efficient and competitive
airspace” - The first interactive debate in Bucharest on the European
legislation concerning SES2+
The European Parliament Information Office in Romania organised the debate "The Single
European Sky: an efficient and competitive airspace", on the 30th of January, 2015, between
10:30 - 13:00, at the Office premises in Bucharest.
Marian-Jean MARINESCU, Member of the Committee on Transport and Tourism, Vice-
President of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats) (PPE) spoke about „the role
and importance of implementing the Single European Sky in consolidating the European
Internal Market”.
Virgil Dragoș TITEA, State Secretary, Ministry of Transport in Romania, stated that, in the
context of the integration into the European Union, ROMATSA (Romanian Air Traffic Services
Administration) and BULATSA (Bulgarian Air Traffic Services Administration)
Andrei FILIPOIU, Director Aeronautical Security, Romanian Civil Aviation Authority, spoke
about "the impact of the SES 2+ Regulation on the supervisory activities performed by the
National Supervisory Authority".
