Maharashtra government dropped all charges against former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh. Earlier govrnement led by Uddhav Thackeray had given suspension orders in December 2021. Current state government has quashed the suspension orders issued in December 2021 and said that he was on duty during the period of suspension. Param Bir Singh had written a letter To CM uddhav Thackeray against Anil Deshmukh stating that he used to extort from bar owners in Mumbai.
