You'll find some weird bike infrastructure in Toronto on Roncesvalles Avenue, which has intermittent "bike lanes" that only show up near transit stops. Not only does this easily create conflicts between cyclists and transit users, after the bike lane ends you're thrown onto the street in a way that's hard to predict or see from the perspective of a driver. 2009 (when these were put in) was not a good year for bike lanes in Toronto.
