In an “Access to Technology and Development”, will.i.am, the musician, tech entrepreneur, investor and creative innovator, shared his thoughts on what governments should be doing to incorporate technology as a better way to serve their citizens.
Investing in youth and educating them is the only answer that makes sense, he said. “Human intelligence” should be just as important as artificial intelligence, because if shaping the future of governments means embracing AI, then humans are the ones who will need to be able to build, control and understand this new world.
“Nine-year-olds need to be equipped with skill sets so that when they are 29 they are able to solve the problems that we can’t even foresee right now,” he said.

وقال إن الاستثمار في الشباب وتثقيفهم هو الجواب الوحيد المنطقي. يجب أن يكون ""الذكاء البشري"" بنفس أهمية الذكاء الاصطناعي، لأنه إذا كان تشكيل مستقبل الحكومات يعني اعتناق الذكاء الاصطناعي، فإن البشر هم الذين سيحتاجون إلى بناء هذا العالم الجديد ومراقبته وفهمه.
وقال: ""يحتاج الأطفال البالغون من العمر تسع سنوات إلى أن يكونوا مجهزين بمجموعات من المهارات بحيث يكونون قادرين على حل المشاكل التي لا يمكننا حتى التنبؤ بها في الوقت الحالي، عندما يكونون في سن التاسعة والعشرين"".
