ELDERLY BLIND STRAY DOG FROM JABALPUR, MADHYA PRADESH: ‘Laali’ admitted to VOSD for lifelong care
A dog lover from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh wrote to the VOSD Helpdesk about ‘Laali,’ an old stray dog who had a big wound on her hind leg. Sadly, the dog was also blind in both eyes and couldn’t be left on the streets as she would not survive. So the kind lady moved Laali to a foster care, but since it wasn’t a long-term solution, she requested us to give the dog a forever home to live out her last few years in peace.
Though terrified initially, Laali has now settled into the sanctuary and gets along with her caregivers and other dogs. She can roam around safely and enjoy the rest of her days. All her nutritional and medical needs are being taken care of by our in-house medical and caregiving teams, to ensure her health and longevity.
VOSD is India’s largest dog rescue and a permanent home to 1,400+ canines – many of whom are blind due to congenital issues or injuries. They lack street survival skills nor do people come forth to adopt them so we are their only hope. Please help us care for Laali and the rest of her friends at the VOSD Sanctuary & Hospital by donating INR 5,000 (~$61) one-time or monthly for their food & medical expenses: [ Ссылка ]
