Today we will talk about...🔽
Constantine I, known as Constantine the Great, was a Roman emperor who played a pivotal role in the history of the Roman Empire and Christianity. He is renowned for being the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity, a decision that profoundly influenced the empire's religious landscape. His victory at the Battle of Milvian Bridge against Maxentius in 312 AD, under the sign of the Christian cross, marked a turning point in his reign. Constantine's endorsement of Christianity and the subsequent Edict of Milan in 313 AD, which granted religious tolerance, paved the way for Christianity to become a dominant faith in the Roman Empire and shaped the course of Western civilization.
