Using the Map Reporter in Wisepilot you can report errors directly from the application to OpenStreetMap. No need to be angry or frustrated about missing roads or locations anymore, go right ahead and report them.

* When you come across an error while navigating, swipe the tab on the right-hand side of the screen to access the menu. By doing so you’ll also save your current position, where the error was found.

* Choose the error type you want to report and, if you want to, add a comment to describe it. Comments are mandatory for all map errors though, but not for speed limit or turn errors.

* Choose to send your report right away or to save it for later. If you want to add long comments or change your report in some other way it might be safer to save the report for when you’ve reached your destination. We don’t want you to get too distracted from your driving, safety first.

* When your report has been sent it will be added as a note to OpenStreetMap. This means that reporting an error won’t correct the error automatically, but the notes you send can be picked up by any OSM user, including yourself.

* To pick up a note and make the suggested changes to the map data, go to the OSM web site, [ Ссылка ] . Once the change has been made it will take about a day or two before the change is reflected in Wisepilot.
