Following the success of the first season, which premiered on 20 March 2023, the show is set to grace screens once again on 4 December 2023, with new episodes dropping every Monday.

Fans can rejoice as the core cast, including Thembinkosi Mthembu as Bonga, Nhlanhla Kunene as Eric, Thabo Rammusi as Mpho, and Luthando BU Mthembu as Vuyani, are all set to reprise their roles for the upcoming season.

The breakout star Londeka Shishi returns as Nkanyezi, joined by Lungile Duma as Zithulele and Dippy Padi as Palesa. Adding to the excitement, Thembi Seete joins the ensemble, portraying Portia, a middle-aged, affluent housewife at the peak of her sexual prowess. The cast further expands with fresh faces, including Samkelo Ndlovu as Minki, Nomalanga Shozi, Obakeng Kgwedi, and Gaisang K Noge, promising a dynamic and engaging storyline.

Season 1

The new eight-part 18SN drama series, Adulting, is available for streaming on Showmax with fresh episodes airing every Monday. It has been touted as the "bromance of the decade" and follows the lives of four university friends who have managed to stay connected despite taking different paths in life.

As they navigate love and success in Johannesburg, they rely on each other for support. Thembinkosi Mthembu stars as Bonga, the ambitious member of the group who is bidding for an R80m contract. Luthando BU Mthembu plays Vuyani, a toy boy who depends on his sugar mama, while Nhlanhla Kunene portrays the bad boy, Eric, who struggles to connect with his daughter.

Thabiso Rammusi rounds off the group as Mpho, a family man having an affair. The series features a supporting cast that includes Sikelelwa Vuyeleni, Lungile Duma, and Londeka Shishi. Adulting is the first Showmax Original from Tshedza Pictures, the award-winning production company that created The River and The Republic.
