The Tesla Model 3 has been spotted undergoing testing in India. The Model 3 will be one of the first Tesla's to arrive in India and is expected to launch by the end of this year. While it is likely to be Tesla’s most accessible model for buyers, you will have to fork out quite a bit for it. Expect the Tesla Model 3 to be priced around Rs 60 lakh.
The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Minister of MSMEs Nitin Gadkari recently announced that Tesla will start operations in India in early 2021.
On January 8, it registered a company named Tesla India Motors and Energy in Bengaluru. The company has an authorised capital of Rs 15 lakh, Tesla CEO Elon Musk kept his words of making debut in India in 2021 by setting up its first office in Bengaluru.
