Part 1 - How to emulate games on a Series X | S:
[ Ссылка ]
The Series consoles pack a whole lot of power. So much power, in fact, they can play almost every game from the previous generations of consoles. All through the power of emulation. Specifically, using the power of the Xbox's Dev Mode and the UWP program RetroArch. The first video dealt with setting up your console and PC to make this all possible.
In continuation of my Xbox Series X emulation series, I talk all about exactly what to expect when running these games and, more importantly, why you would emulate all these games on a Series Console.
I tested a whole lot of games - from the classic Nintendo Entertainment System (sometimes called the NES) to the Play Station 2 - to get a good range of quality. RetroArch went through tons of changes, and is still getting updates, so quality shown in the video isn't final. Still, I'm sure many will be thrilled about the performance currently. And, from my brief history with RetroArch on the Xbox, it's promising that we'll keep seeing improvements.
I love emulation, and I love that you can do it on one of my favorite consoles. This opens up a lot of possibilities for this generation of Xbox. Emulation is only the first step, and what a first step.
